Hydrolyze acidification-Biological Contact Oxidation Process (HA-BCO) is a fairly mature process flow used widely in treatment of the dyehouse waste.
It has the advantages of strong resist impact load capability，good running stability,
good sludge settlement, and good resistant ability of the influence of fluky outside temperature, and easy to be operated. It can be broadly used in the treatment of high-concentration and various quality & quantity instrial wastewater. The objective of hydrolyze acidification is to improve wastewater's biochemical ability and to create conditions for the consequent oxidation biological treatment. At the same time, the remained sludge proced in the oxidation biological treatment could refluence to the anaerobic oxidation biological treatment workshop section through the sedimentation tank. Because the sludge has enough retention time in the anaerobic oxidation biological treatment workshop section, it can be digested with anaerobic oxidation completely. The whole system emits almost no remained sludge except for a little abio-sludge may pile in the anaerobic oxidation section, thus it can fulfill its own sludge balance. It belongs to bio-film method.

With the rapid development of the dye instry, the dye veriety and volume increase day by day, which proces more and more drainage endangering the environment. Condensed dye drainage is one of the widely acknowledged instrial wastes. The research of filtering the dye drainage is a world wide poser and hot spot, which has been an important subject of environment protection research.

This paper concludes the best coagulation and oxidation conditions based on a research on a processing test of dye drainage in a textile group with the methods of coagulation and oxidation. The test proves that simple coagulation or oxidation can remove CODCr in the dye drainage to the No.1 level of Chinese national standard GB4287-84.

芬頓反應（Fenton's Reaction）:Fenton（中文譯為芬頓）是為數不多的以人名命名的無機化學反應之一。1893 年,化學家Fenton HJ 發現，過氧化氫(H2O2) 與二價鐵離子Fe的混合溶液具有強氧化性，可以將當時很多已知的有機化合物如羧酸、醇、酯類氧化為無機態，氧化效果十分顯著。但此後半個多世紀中，這種氧化性試劑卻因為氧化性極強沒有被太多重視。但進入20 世紀70 年代，芬頓試劑在環境化學中找到了它的位置，具有去除難降解有機污染物的高能力的芬頓試劑，在印染廢水、含油廢水、含酚廢水、焦化廢水、含硝基苯廢水、二苯胺廢水等廢水處理中體現了很廣泛的應用。 當芬頓發現芬頓試劑時，尚不清楚過氧化氫與二價鐵離子反應到底生成了什麼氧化劑具有如此強的氧化能力。二十多年後，有人假設可能反應中產生了羥基自由基，否則，氧化性不會有如此強。因此，以後人們採用了一個較廣泛引用的化學反應方程式來描述芬頓試劑中發生的化學反應：
Fe+H2O2→Fe+OH+ ·OH ①
從上式可以看出，1mol的H2O2與1mol的Fe反應後生成1mol的Fe，同時伴隨生成1mol的OH外加1mol的羥基自由基。正是羥基自由基的存在，使得芬頓試劑具有強的氧化能力。據計算在pH = 4 的溶液中，OH·自由基的氧化電勢高達2. 73 V。在自然界中，氧化能力在溶液中僅次於氟氣。因此，持久性有機物，特別是通常的試劑難以氧化的芳香類化合物及一些雜環類化合物，在芬頓試劑面前全部被無選擇氧化降解掉。1975 年,美國著名環境化學家Walling C 系統研究了芬頓試劑中各類自由基的種類及Fe 在Fenton 試劑中扮演的角色，得出如下化學反應方程：
H2O2 + Fe→ Fe + O2 + 2H ②
O2 + Fe→ Fe + O2· ③
可以看出,芬頓試劑中除了產生1 摩爾的OH·自由基外,還伴隨著生成1 摩爾的過氧自由基O2·，但是過氧自由基的氧化電勢只有1.3 V左右，所以，在芬頓試劑中起主要氧化作用的是OH·自由基。(以上引自網路)
